.. where {localnet} is 192.168.0.0/24 in my instance (/24 meaning a
netmask of 255.255.255.0).
I would try to stick with the Mandrake tools if I were you though - you
want this configuration to stick, presumably. You could also try using
Linuxconf, or whatever variation Mandrake currently ship.
Also, you won't be need to download and install any firewall software -
unless you house national secrets on your local network, the stuff that
comes with Mandrake will do you fine ;)
