I haven't tried it, but it IS working in someones tree. Try reading the
logs for any hints (make sure you compile AGPGART support and DRM support
in your kernel).

Those are the SRPMS, i386 is somewhere in the area.

Either. But it shouldn't stop it working anyway. Have you got an updated
XFree 4 config file? 3.3.x configs won't work.
All I can really suggest is poking /var/log/XFree86.log and seeing what
gives.
