More interesting than the article[1] were the comments.

Heaven help us, Linux Format readers actually think before they post!

[1]  This fork has been coming for a while, Luke is VERY smart and an
EQUALLY LARGE pain to work with from all I've heard.  He has basically
had his own private branch for years, now he wants to run things.
