[Sheflug] Still can't understand Xhost etc.

Could someone tell me how to permanantly allow several users and/or all
local users to connect to the X Server on my machine?

 Problem is this...

I'm usually logged in a baz, my normal username.

I su to nsadmin to use emacs to edit some tcl scripts and I get this:

[nsadmin@flux www]$ emacs -fg white -bg black
admin/reserve/room-edit-2.tcl &
[1] 18435
[nsadmin@flux www]$ Xlib: connection to "localhost:0.0" refused by
server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
emacs: Cannot connect to X server localhost:0.
Check the DISPLAY environment variable or use `-d'.
Also use the `xhost' program to verify that it is set to permit
connections from your machine.

su'ing to root and running xhost +localhost gives the same error. I had
to log in as root and start an X session and run xhost from within a
term...

 Really wierd.

 Baz.
