Umm... Craig Andrews, James Mears and myself have hardly had any
problems with PCMCIA cards and the SuSE distribution. So, maybe your
card is the wrong voltage for the other hardware ? Try doing
something like 'lspci' and some other comand line magic and send in
the results so that we can have a look at it. Might be a good idea
to see whether the PCMCIA drivers have loaded properly. Have a look
in your SuSE manual for info about PCMCIA debugging.
Other thing is ... if you are using a wireles LAN then you did enable
IPsec at the network interface didn't you ? It's not a good idea to
work without it.
