Alistair,

A quick browse of your email seems to suggest that you're running both
192.168.1.0/24 _and_ 192.168.0.0/24 - which is it??

(i.e., this might be the problem - make sure they're _all_ set to the
same network!!)

I will look through the rest more thoroughly after I finish my soup (mm,
lunch), but this looks like an obvious gotcha. What you _should_ be
running (ie., what I think you're running after reading your emails) is:

Laptop: 192.168.0.5
		network is 192.168.0.0, netmask 255.255.255.0

Workstation:	192.168.0.1
		network is 192.168.0.0, netmask 255.255.255.0

Other nodes having addresses in 192.168.0.*.

Clarify if I'm wrong ;)

Cheers,

Alex.
