I would personally recommend Debian, but the 3.0 release isn't out for 
another month or two (my estimate) so not just now.

My brother is running a firewall/web server/samba server on Mandrake in what 
sounds like a similar situation to yours. I told him he was mad, but he 
hasn't been hacked yet. :)
