RE: [Sheflug] CDROM's and Xcd roast
Here are what looks to me like the relevant bit from /var/log/boot.msg
xcdroast happily finds cd rw and cd rom and zip but nothing reads from
them ..?

Does /dev/scd1 actually exist? If it doesn't there may be an error in
dmesg
that you've missed.
