Which ADSL are you getting? The expensive one, which comes with an ethernet
connection, or the cheap one which is USB based? If the cheap one, then
you'll have to use a Win98 as this is the only thing supported (in terms of
drivers as well; see uk.telecom). If the ethernet one, then any GNU/Linux or
BSD box should do the job. If you're /really/ paranoid about security, then
get a tech bod to setup OpenBSD on a spare intel box :)
