I'm sure I tried the commenting out of this line when I was trying to
get it to work on my own, dunno what I did.

OK.... it's to the stage where the server appears to work as
expected...I just can't actually fire the X server up in a useful
manner!

So far the only way I've managed to bring up XFree 4 is to run
"XFree86" which starts the server, but not gdm, or anything else - I
just get a thatched black and white pattern.

I've looked at /etc/X11/xinitrc and man xinit and X etc and I just
don't know.

How do I get a proper X server running? What is causing the SVGA server
to try and start (even when the XFree 4 XF86Config file is in place)?
