i found SDL, I downloaded the rpm, but it needs libc.so.6 which i've
found relates to glibc 2 something or other, havent got it at the tip
of my tongue right now. anyway, I havent got it according to rpm.
How do i find which version I have, and would rpm neccesarily know
since I use SuSE 6.1? (Which didn't install things using the rpm
system, unlike the 6.3 beta I once used.)
Incidentally, when I used the beta I had a problem whereby one of
the resolutions would flicker when objects were moved on the
screen. The type of flicker was that there were pixels on the screen
sort of transposed horizontally to the wrong location, this was all
cleared up as soon as there was no more changes to the screen,
and it affected only areas which were changing not the whole
screen. Im going to buy the 6.3 full boxed set, and wondered
wether people on the list think I might encounter a similar problem,
or may i just have installed the Xserver incorrectly?
