Re: Security - how to notice compromises.




Martin (and anyone else who can answer),

 Right now I`ve got /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall which is only for IP Masq -
there is little or no explicit security precautions - it`s taken
straight from the IP Masq how-to.

 I`ve had a look at your website...and the firewall script, which I`m
not even gonna pretend I understand.

 What do I need to add to deny everyone access to my machine, apart from
a few specified IP`s, and machines on my network, and log any problems -
whilst keeping functioning IP masq?
