RE: procmail and kmail

I agree entirely that up until now the Linux docs have been targetted at 
the "serious" sysadmin, and that the casual home user needs more 
handholding. PC Plus has run some very useful articles on such subjects as 
configuring fetchmail & procmail. Linux Answers got panned by many for 
being too "newbie-centric". But the sysadmins have Linux Journal, the 
newbies have, well, after the books in the various distributions and 
"Idiot's Guide.." nothing, really.

Many people who have installed Linux out of curiosity have removed it again 
after finding the admin side and docs too arcane. Perhaps some kind souls 
with nothing better to do in their spare time could start the "Linux Home 
User Documentation Project", although I suspect the upcoming Linux Format 
will very quickly do this.....
