Red Hat 6.1
Hello
Well, after two months of hitting my head against a wall I've
finally been able to get Red Hat 6.1 to dual boot with the Win98
machine that I'm using to write this e-mail. The problem wasn't
anything to do with Red Hat or Win98 but the graphics card and
monitor card combination. It's very hard to work that out.
Now all I have to do is find someone who can understand how to
connect Red Hat 6.1 with kernel 2.2.12-20 to the local ISDN system.
That was why I didn't bother with Red Hat before now. There was no
way to connect it to the internet. If you use SuSE then all you have
to do is install the software. With Red Hat you have to write your
own config files.
Thanks
Richard
